NZFHS Conference

The Helensville & District Historical Society hosted the highly successful annual conference of the New Zealand Federation of Historical Societies over three days, from Friday April 4 until Sunday April 6. The event included a boat trip on the Kaipara on the Sunday morning from 9am to midday.

Ruby Birthday Celebration

The Ruby Celebrations continue for the Historical Society. Reaching 40 Years is celebrated with an Open Day at the Helensville War Memorial Hall on Sunday 31.08.08 at 1.30pm.

Speakers, document and photo displays. Musical entertainment. Cutting of the Celebration Cake and introduction of the 2 new patrons will take place. Of course there will be the usual delicious afternooon tea put on by the volunteers. Entry fee $5.00.
